Clan Buchanan Sporran

This is our Buchanan Clan Crest Sporran. It is a Rob Roy style sporran with an Interchangeable Flap. The bag is made from premium black leather sewn in our workshop. The sporran flap is full grain vegetable tanned leather with the clan crest and motto embossed into it. The flap on this bag has been hand rubbed with stain to give it a rich, old world look that enhances the design and brings out the details.

The bag utilizes a leather drawstring cord to close the bag at the top. The second leather cord is used to loop over the concho or clasp on the flap to hold it securely closed. These cords are accented with a variety of bead work to compliment the design. Bead style may vary on each bag.

The back of our sporran is reinforced at the top with vegetable tanned leather for durability. The flap itself attaches to the back of the bag at the top with heavy duty snaps so that you can change it to one of our different flap designs for more wardrobe versatility. There are two D-rings to attach it to a sporran belt. As an additional feature, the belt loop on the back of the sporran will comfortably fit on a 2.5 inch belt should you choose to wear it that way. We purposefully put as much utility into our sporran design as we could! We love it and we think you will too.
