This is the Celtic Boar Highland Targe by Celtic Leatherworks. The foreground of this targe features four boars on the inner quadrants encircled by Celtic knotwork with borders of brass nails. The hand hammered brass boss has been etched to accent the shield. It also has a 7 inch removable spike. The back is covered with fur and has adjustable arm straps with reproduction brass buckles and a spike sheath. This targe is 19 inches in diameter and weighs about 10 pounds..
